Happy Kids Craniosacral

Tending Babies, Minding Mamas

Pre & Perinatal Craniosacral Therapy for Babies & Children
(parents too!)

With such busy fast lives, increasingly parents find the transition into being parents of a newborn challenging. A baby’s natural rhythm is quite slow.  Many of us are not able to down shift into the pace that supports the baby best. How can babies feel soothed and relaxed given a fast environment?

Craniosacral work is a gentle hands-on healing modality that can offer a respite for both baby and parents. The work offers a space to slow down so misalignments and health anomalies can heal.

I have been tending to kids and mamas as service and livelihood since 1990. I did not plan my career this way, yet as a health educator and nutritionist at the time, life took me in this direction. In the early days I counseled on and designed educational health programs for pregnancy, infants, and children's health which included empowerment through food choices, behavioral development, breastfeeding, and safe family choices. Moms were a huge part of my own growth and learning. So were the babies!

I have been working with kids and babies ever since, as a Craniosacral Therapist for three decades. I have seen so many kiddos grow up and live from their whole selves. It is my passion! I came to love moms for their strength, courage, and intuitiveness, and also recognized how little support our culture affords them. Slowly over many years I became a “mom to the moms”, as some of my clients endearingly state. It is my aim to help women get the best and most empowered wellness support for themselves, their babies, and families.

I have been the Santa Barbara Waldorf School craniosacral therapist for fifteen years. I also work with families in all communities and demographics, including underserved groups. It is all a joy. It’s such an honor to witness children I work with blossom from infants into as far as their third decade of life, living from such a full essence from which they began their lives.

After working thousands of hours with mamas and their gems, I know how important it is to find the right support. Patience, listening, kindness, understanding...

I welcome the chance to be one of your resources. It’s an honor to work with you and your precious ones.
